Resources
Our commitment to reducing transportation-related emissions is reflected in our sourcing practices. We prioritize obtaining supplies, ingredients, and materials from local Canadian cities.
Packaging
To reduce waste, the packaging has been redesigned to use recycled cardstock and combines the Thank You note with the typical cosmetic boxes that products are received in.
To minimize material usage, the shipping boxes are downsized through the utilization of Mini Mailers located in Ottawa, ON.
Manufacturing
The manufacturing process employs compostable personal protective equipment (PPE), utilizes zero-waste containers, and incorporates refillable products.
Materials
Our products use natural ingredients that are safe for both humans and the environment. No animals are involved in the testing of our products. We prioritize the protection of animals as an essential part of the ecosystem. To ensure that our products are vegan and cruelty-free, we exclusively rely on plant-based alternatives.

Recycling
Lip balm tubes are too small to be recycled through curbside recycling. They can get stuck in large machinery that is not meant to recycle at such a small scale.
TerraCycle is a recycling & zero waste program that makes it easy to recycle out of the ordinary objects. They have an extensive team that sorts through the objects, researches & develops way to reuse each materials, and turn it into raw materials that get sold to manufacturing companies for it’s new life.
